Rockstar quietly opened the merchandise side of GTA VI this week, and unlike most pre-launch store news, this one has a real price list attached.
On October 8, Rockstar published "Grand Theft Auto VI Collection Now at the Rockstar Store," announcing "the official Grand Theft Auto VI Collection, featuring new apparel and collectibles inspired by Grand Theft Auto VI, exclusively available now at the Rockstar Store." The store now has a dedicated GTA VI collection page split into three clear categories: apparel, accessories, and collectibles. This is not a game edition, and it does not include the game. It is licensed merchandise, the kind of thing that usually shows up in the last stretch before a release.
What makes it worth writing down is that the products and prices are verifiable on Rockstar's own store right now. The white Macca the Gator tee and the Goodtime State tees run $29.99. The GTA VI baseball caps, in three colorways, are $29.99. The canvas totes are $39.99. The Vice City Zippo lighter is $39.99, and there is a Vice City money clip, a keychain, and two sticker collections rounding out the low end of the lineup. The collectible tier still sits where it did before: the Goodtime State Vice City Collection collector's box at $399.99, which Rockstar has already said does not include a copy of the game.
That last point matters because it is the thing people keep getting wrong. A $400 box with a gator figure, sunglasses, and a pin set is a fan collectible, not a special edition. The merch drop does not change the pricing article, does not add a new edition, and does not touch the release date. Rockstar said nothing about the game here. It said what it is selling, and how much it costs.
The timing is the more interesting story. Rockstar has now spaced out three distinct buying beats in about a month: the collector's box in late September, the GTA VI: The Album physical editions with their November 20 ship date, and now the general apparel and collectibles line. That is a deliberate merchandising drumbeat running alongside the marketing for a game that launches November 19. None of it is gameplay news, and treating it as a signal about the game would be a mistake. But for players who want the gear before launch, the collection page is now the authoritative place to buy it, and the store, not a reseller, is the price of record.
The honest boundary is simple. Confirmed: the official GTA VI Collection is live at the Rockstar Store in apparel, accessories, and collectibles, with the prices listed above. Not confirmed: any new game content, edition, or release-date detail. If you are shopping, buy from the store and ignore the resellers already listing these items at multiples of face value. If you are reading for game news, this is not it.
The collection adds to what fans can already pre-order without any ambiguity: the game itself, the album, and the collector's box. Everything on that list is merch and media. The game is still the game, still due November 19, and still the only purchase that gets you into Leonida.
