Malwarebytes has verified a wave of fake early-access pages selling supposed GTA VI access for cryptocurrency. The pitch is familiar enough to look believable at a glance: VIP access, an exclusive preview, a polished payment flow, and a promise that a download appears after the buyer sends Bitcoin, Ethereum, or USDT. Malwarebytes says one example asked for $250. The game never unlocks, because there is no legitimate public early access for GTA VI.

That last sentence is the useful part. Rockstar is selling preorders through official channels. Rockstar has not announced a beta, preview build, early-access program, or third-party download site. If a page claims otherwise, treat it as a scam unless Rockstar says it directly through its own site, Newswire, or verified platform storefronts.

The scam works because it borrows real gaming language. Early access, deluxe bonuses, private tests, and limited windows all exist elsewhere in the industry. For GTA VI, that language is bait. A slick site with neon art and a crypto checkout can still be fake. A countdown timer does not make it official. A "transaction ID" box does not mean there is a product behind it.
