Privacy Policy

Next Vice ("we," "our," "us") is a fan-operated Grand Theft Auto VI resource hub. This policy explains how we handle information when you visit our site.

Information We Collect

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site. Google Analytics collects anonymized data such as page views, browser type, device type, and general geographic region.

My List is stored in your browser with localStorage unless you choose to connect an account in the future. Watchlist community signals use an anonymous browser visitor ID so counts like "Watching this," "Seems likely," and "Seems unlikely" can work without creating a public profile.

Cookies

Google Analytics uses cookies to track session information. These cookies are functional and anonymized. You can opt out of Google Analytics cookies by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Third-Party Services

This site may embed content from third-party services such as YouTube, Reddit, X/Twitter, Discord, and other source or media providers. These services have their own privacy policies, and we do not control the data they collect.

Our current comment system is powered by the Next Vice API and stores the display name you provide, the comment body, thread context, and timestamp. Discord community previews on Next Vice show cached public server messages for live-discussion context; private Discord data is not mirrored into the site.

Account sign-in, when enabled, is handled by Supabase Auth. Supabase may process your email address or social-provider identity so Next Vice can verify your session. Product data such as synced saves or followed claims should remain behind the Next Vice API boundary when those features launch.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with third parties. The anonymized analytics data collected by Google Analytics is subject to Google's privacy policy.
